The following sweepstakes is intended for participation in the United States only and shall only be evaluated according to United States law. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning. Entries will be accepted until Monday, February 8, 2022 at 11:59PM CST. By submitting your information, your name will be automatically entered into a random drawing for the Prize (defined below) from among all eligible entries received. The winner will be selected from eligible entries at random and contacted (via email or Instagram provided) to claim their prize. Must be 18 years or older to enter. This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Inc. or Instagram, LLC. You agree to release Facebook, Inc. and Instagram, LLC from any and all responsibility associated with the Sweepstakes. You understand that you are providing your information only to de Buyer, Inc, and not to Facebook, Inc. or any of its affiliates.

I. Eligibility

Sweepstakes is open to residents of the United States (50 states and District of Columbia, but excluding the territory of Puerto Rico) age 18 or older. Only one entry per person. Entrants must sign up via giveaway page link to be considered eligible. Employees and contractors of de Buyer, Inc. and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. By entering, you agree to abide by the official rules and accept the decisions of de Buyer, Inc. all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.

II. How to Enter

To enter, eligible participants must sign up via the giveaway page link and must be following @debuyerusa and @chefdaviddenis accounts on Instagram. The entrant must fulfill all specified requirements to be eligible to win the prize. Entries that are not complete or do not adhere to the specified rules may be disqualified at the sole discretion of the Administrators of the giveaway. Limit one entry per person. You may not enter more than one time by using multiple email addresses, identities or devices in an attempt to circumvent the rules. If you are not following the social media accounts of the sponsor, you will be considered ineligible.

III. Prizes

One winner will be chosen and will receive the following prize: One (1) La Mandoline KOBRA and one (1) AFFINITY 6.3' saucepan, one (1) recording of Chef David Denis from the Williams Sonoma Virtual Wellness Retreat, with an approximate retail value of $300+.

The specifics of the prize shall be solely determined by the sweepstakes sponsor. The prizes are nontransferable. No cash prize or substitution is permitted. Any and all prize related expenses, including but not limited to, any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. No substitution of prizes or transfer/assignment of prizes to others or request for the cash equivalent by winner is permitted. Acceptance of prizes constitutes permission for the sponsor to use winner's name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

IV. Winner Selection

The winner of the Sweepstakes will be selected at random by the de Buyer, Inc. team. The winner will be notified via email or Instagram within two (2) days following closure of the giveaway. The sponsor shall have no liability for the winner's failure to receive notices due to winner’s spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If the selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim its prize within 1 business day from the time the notification was sent, or fails to return a completed and executed declaration and release as required in a timely manner, prizes may be forfeited, and an alternate winner will be selected.

The receipt by winner of the prize offered in this Sweepstakes/Giveaway is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal and state laws and regulations. Violation of these rules by the winner will result in disqualification and termination of the prize at the sponsor’s discretion.

V. Terms and Conditions

The Sponsor of this Sweepstakes reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes/Giveaway in the case of non-authorized intervention, fraud or other cause beyond its control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. The sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes/Giveaway or website or violates these Terms & Conditions.

The Sponsor reserves the right to void entries at its discretion, for reasons including, but not limited to; multiple entries from the same user from different IP addresses; multiple entries from the same computer in excess of that allowed by Sweepstakes/Giveaway rules; or the use of macros or scripts or other technical means for entering. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes/Giveaway may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the sponsors reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.

VI. Limitation on Liability

All Entrants, as a condition of entry, agree to be bound by these official rules and decisions of Sponsor. Entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, the Sponsor’s liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Giveaway, and in no event shall the Sponsor be liable for attorney’s fees. Entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.

Each entrant consents to the use of his/her name, likeness, biographical information, and any other information provided in his/her entry, in promotional and marketing materials by Sponsor without additional compensation. This Sweepstakes shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois. Any action by entrant or third party brought to enforce these rules shall be brought only in either the State or Federal Courts located in Illinois, and you consent to the jurisdiction of said courts. Each entrant agrees to not knowingly cause damage or interruption of the Sweepstakes; prevent others from entering the Sweepstakes, or to obtain or modify another’s non-public information without their consent. Submission of an entry is acknowledgment of and agreement to be bound by all terms and conditions of these official rules.
